Once we’ve reviewed your submission, we’ll reach out to schedule a complimentary introductory phone consultation. During this call, we’ll discuss your project, answer your initial questions, and determine if we’re the right fit for one another.

From there, we’ll schedule an on-site consultation where we’ll walk your property together, explore opportunities, discuss ideas, and begin shaping a design tailored to your lifestyle and the way you want to live outdoors.

If it sounds like we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule an on-site consultation at your home.

During this visit, we’ll walk the property, discuss your goals, evaluate existing conditions, and begin exploring ideas for your outdoor space. This is also an opportunity to discuss project priorities, budget expectations, and answer any questions you may have.

Following our consultation, we’ll prepare a personalized proposal outlining the recommended services, project scope, timeline, design deliverables, and investment.

Once your proposal is approved, we’ll officially begin the design process.

We’ll begin developing your custom landscape design, carefully considering the layout, materials, planting design, lighting, and outdoor living features that best suit your property and lifestyle.

Throughout the process, we’ll collaborate, gather feedback, and refine the design until every detail feels just right.

Optional 3D renderings are available for clients who would like to visualize their project before construction begins.

Site Survey

A licensed land survey documents the existing conditions of your property, including:

● Property lines and easements

● Existing structures and improvements

● Grades and elevations

● Utilities and other site features

This survey serves as the foundation for our design, engineering, and permit drawings, ensuring everything is accurately located and code compliant.

Once your landscape design is complete, you’ll have two options.

Finalize Landscape Design

Receive your completed design package and work with the contractor of your choice to bring your vision to life.

Continue with Design + Build

When your design is complete, you have the option to continue with Sundial as we guide your project through construction. During this phase, we coordinate with contractors, assist with material and finish selections, answer field questions, and help ensure the original design vision is thoughtfully carried through every stage.

The permitting process also begins during this phase. Depending on the scope of work, we coordinate the preparation and submission of permit documents, site surveys, soil testing, and any other required documentation to help move your project toward approval.

Please note that Design, Permitting, and Construction (Design + Build) are separate services. While they work seamlessly together, each phase is independently scoped and billed based on the needs and complexity of your project. This allows you the flexibility to move forward at your own pace while ensuring every stage receives the attention it deserves.
